Mr. Liang is currently a research assistant in the department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at North Carolina State University fund by the Power America. Prior to joint NC State, he was once the intern in Siemens and Eaton focusing on the Electric Vehicle Drive and Medium Voltage Switch Gear.
In the Power America, Mr. Liang is one of the main group member building up the medium voltage plug-in electric vehicle fast charger. His research is focusing on the power converter control, power factor correction and converter development using wide bandgap devices.
