Hui Yu received the Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in electrical engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China, in 2013 and 2016, respectively. He is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree at the Future Renewable Electric Energy Delivery and Management (FREEDM) Systems Center, North Carolina State University, Raleigh, NC, USA. His research interests include power electronics converter design, modeling and control in microgrids, renewable energy systems, and energy storage systems. He was a recipient of the Outstanding Presentation Award of the 2018 IEEE Applied Power Electronics Conference.
