DC microgrids have several advantages over AC microgrids but also face several design challenges. In this technical webinar, we will present a novel energy management approach that optimizes operation of multiple, heterogenous energy storage devices in a DC microgrid. The proposed method is completely decentralized and requires no communication between device controllers. The presentation will review the system fundamentals, explain model derivation, stability analysis, and HIL simulation results. This event has passed.
