Extreme weather events can cause long duration outages on the distribution grid. However, systems with high PV penetration have more options for resiliency. This presentation will describe three energy management frameworks using community microgrids, mobile energy storage units, and Megawatt scale PV generation. These frameworks prioritize critical loads, equitable restoration, proactive uncertainty management, and temporal-spatial generalizability.
