Rahul Chakraborty was born in Kolkata, India in 1993. He received the Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India, in 2015 and the Master of Science (Engineering) in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India, in 2018. He earned PhD in 2023 from the FREEDM Systems Center laboratory of Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at North Carolina State University, USA. Currently, he is working as Level – III Researcher for Transmission System Strategic Planning and Modeling at Dominion Energy in Richmond, Virginia. His areas of interest include grid integration of renewable energy sources, power system stability analysis using advanced control and optimization techniques, dynamics of large-scale complex systems with critical infrastructure.
