International Electronics Group Presents at FREEDM

Rohde & Schwarz, a global leader in electronic test and measurement solutions, visited the FREEDM Systems Center in late March for an insightful presentation on their advanced probe technologies. The event brought together experts in the field of electronic engineering to explore the cutting-edge capabilities of Rohde & Schwarz’s testing instruments, renowned for their precision and reliability across various industries.

The focus of the presentation was on the company’s probes, which are essential tools for accurate signal measurement in electronics development and testing. These probes are crucial in ensuring high-performance designs, particularly in sectors such as communications, automotive, and semiconductor industries. Engineers from Rohde & Schwarz shared valuable knowledge on probe technology advancements, offering real-world applications and use cases to the attendees. FREEDM’s lab manager Hulgize Kassa stated “From our demonstration of Rohde & Schwarz’s latest differential probe (RT-ZISO), we observed that it supports third-party oscilloscopes, offers a broader voltage range, and significantly reduces temperature and frequency measurement drift. The improved connectivity minimizes strain on the DUT, while the probe and its tip provide a larger and safer operating zone.”

FREEDM Systems Center, known for its innovation in renewable energy and smart grid technologies, provided the perfect setting for this collaboration. By bridging the gap between cutting-edge measurement tools and next-generation energy systems, the presentation fostered new opportunities for collaboration, learning, and innovation in the field of electronic testing and measurement.
